The CNMI Broadband Policy and Development Office held our first in-person Broadband Stakeholder Meeting today. We kicked it off on our beautiful island of Rota.
Thank you to the Rota Mayor’s Office and their wonderful staff who helped coordinate our efforts. Thank you also to the Rota Senators and the Rota Representative who assisted and joined in the sessions today. Thank you to the Rota Dept. of Commerce team for all the support and allowing us to use your conference room. Big Si Yu’us Maase to all the people who took time out of their busy day to join us in-person and virtually and exchange ideas and wisdom.

We learned so much about the various intricacies when looking at broadband and digital equity issues that apply to Rota.
We will be sure to include all the detailed information and ideas in our Five Year Action Plan.
While this was our first in-person Stakeholder Meeting it certainly won’t be our last. We will be holder an in-person event on Tinian on August 10 from 2pm to 4pm. We will also continue these stakeholder meetings for the next few years.
Reminder that we still have weekly Virtual Stakeholder Meetings every Friday from 3pm to 4pm. The meetings are open to everyone.
